The Central Algarve In Brief

10th June 2009: Algarve Property News

The Central Algarve is one of Europe’s favourite holiday destinations, famous for its world-class golf courses and luxury resorts such as Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago and Vale de Lobo. More established than other Algarve regions, it still retains its charm and tradition and has a reputation for refined quality, prestigious communities and fantastic range of activities.

Property Investment In The Central Algarve:

For a property investment, the Central Algarve has a lot to offer the lifestyle investor. It is a mature area with a long history of successful real estate development and a solid rental and resale market.

The excellent infrastructure, golf, services and facilities attract visitors throughout the year and Vilamoura alone records over 300,000 rounds of golf per annum. This makes a buy to let property investment in the Central Algarve completely viable and most importantly, low risk.

This is crucial in today’s market. With so many emerging property markets over promising and seriously under delivering, the Central Algarve goes from strength to strength as a solid, dependable long-term property investment option.

Portuguese developers are naturally conservative and many have years of experience delivering real estate to exceed the high expectations of Northern European buyers.

It is these quality levels, superb locations, easy access to Faro International Airport, high demand for self-catering property and exciting plans for the future which should make the Central Algarve a first choice for lifestyle property investors in northern Europe.
